Madrid: Third in voting for 2012. 3-5.
Tokyo: 1964 Olympic Games host, frequent site of major international events. 3-5.
Rio de Janeiro: Geopolitical correctness makes it nearly impossible to eliminate first recent serious bid from South America. 8-5.
Doha, Qatar: May be finalist for same reason as Rio, even though tapping into oil money is the only reason to entertain the idea of an Olympics in this small, overheated country. 7-1.
Prague: Magnificent city that bid for no apparent reason, given minimal government support. 75-1.
Baku: Who? Where? Oil-rich city bid simply to get some recognition. 100-1.
